RPL Course Content

Over a 2 day period, learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of prehospital emergency care situations.

The course covers the following:

Role and responsibilities

Incident assessment and management

Patient assessment

Catastrophic bleeding recognition and control

Essential airway assessment and management

Emergency oxygen and pulse oximetry

Basic life support and AED/defibrillation

Respiratory system and breathing difficulties

The FREC3 RPL Training Course is held at our pristine and fully equipped Medical Education Centre in Ellesmere Port, serving Ambulance Care Assistants (PTS), Community First Responders, and Event First Responders in Wirral, Birkenhead, Chester, Liverpool, Runcorn, Warrington, and North Wales. Our medical training centre in Ellesmere Port is conveniently accessible by road, public transport, train, bus, and plane. The closest airport is Liverpool John Lennon.
